【Main ingredient】Doxycycline Hyclate

【Characters】This product is a light yellow or yellow crystalline powder.

【Pharmacological actions】

Tetracycline antibiotics. Doxycycline inhibits the growth and reproduction of bacteria by reversibly binding to the receptor on the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, interfering with the formation of ribosomal complexes between tRNA and mRNA, preventing peptide chain lengthening and inhibiting protein synthesis. Doxycycline inhibits both gram-positive and negative bacteria. Cross-resistance to doxycycline and hygromycin exists.

It is rapidly absorbed internally, is less affected by food, has high bioavailability, strong tissue penetration, wide distribution and long maintenance of effective blood concentration. The protein binding rate in pigs is 93%.

【Effect and use】

Tetracycline antibiotic. Used for the treatment of Escherichia coli, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis and respiratory diseases caused by mycoplasma in pigs and chickens caused by Gram-positive and negative bacteria.

【Usage and dosage】

Calculated with this product. Mixed drinking: 0.25~0.5g per 1L of water for pigs; 3g for chickens. 3-5days consecutive .

【Untoward effect】

Long-term application can cause double infections and damage to the liver.

【Cautions】

(1)Laying hens was Prohibited during egg production. 

(2)Avoid concomitant administration with feeds containing high levels of calcium.
